I Don’t Drive a Prius, But I Do Recycle

No, I’m not a tree hugger or anything like that, but I do think it is really important to help conserve the environment.  I really like to do everything I can in my catering business to help us remain sustainable.  In order to do so, I try to utilize as many environmentally friendly products aka “green products” that I can when I cook.

Jump on the bandwagon and go green with your frying pans!  Eco-friendly products are not just a fad, they are here to stay.  When Teflon pans are heated on high temperatures, they release toxic chemicals.  Unlike Teflon pans though, the Ceramic Coated Go-Green Frying Pans from World Cuisine do not release any potentially toxic chemicals, making them a great asset to any kitchen.  Why take a chance with potentially harmful Teflon when you have other healthier not to mention cheaper options?  These Go-Green pans are non-stick and induction compatible, yet don’t include any Teflon to make them harmful.  The ceramic coating allows your food to be protected from potentially harmful metals on your pan during cooking.  The reason this pan is considered “green” is because it uses 50% less energy then a normal fry pan.   Unlike cast iron pans, the handle on these pans stays cool so you don’t have to worry about any additional and unnecessary employee burns.
